Pentz: A Lot Going On is a 40 page type specimen book that dives into the typeface's history and anatomy. Pentz is a contemporary Art Nouveau and Blackletter inspired typeface created by Fort Foundry for the Motown Museum. It is a revival of another typeface that was famously depicted on Marvin Gaye's album, What's Going On, and was created in celebration of the album's 50th anniversary. The book's contents were heavily researched and written completely by me, and there is even an interview with one of the typeface's designers, Brian Brubaker.
