I'm Kennedy Ray, a designer from San Diego and a recent graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. I aspire to pursue a career in advertising, editorial, spatial, or packaging design.

I pride myself on being a designer as well as a conceptual strategist. I value research as a necessary prelude to an effective final product. In my personal work I am particularly interested in the way that visual language shapes perception, constructs narratives, and influences power.  By drawing connections between historical and contemporary realities, I seek to compel audiences to confront what is often overlooked, ignored, or
deliberately hidden.

In addition to design, I love photography, vintage clothing, printmaking, and exploring the outdoors. I’m always looking for new ways to be creative and bring new mediums into my practice.
